Afternoon Every One, was out early this morning, so thought we would be back early, best laid plans of mice and men.
I am quiet close to the Dartford Tunnel, that was grid locked then it backs up all our roads on to the r our estate, so then stuck in traffic miles of it.
Lovely here not to hot, done few jobs, so all in all i suppose not a bad day.
Hope every one is well and making the most of their Saturday.
Hi Ellie, I know the dartford tunnel traffic very well! My husband is from Romford so go up quite often. I am glad for the tunnel on the way up, as I do not like the bridge on the way back! I always have to close my eyes until we are over, I must add its not me driving.
LOL Well i do not drive.
Well it was a nightmare today, and blocks every where round here.
Romford, used to go the the market when i my teens.
My son bought his first house there Park Lane, then he moved to Ireland
Small World
My husband worked on the market, There was a very well known material stall that was there for years. My husband would set up the stall on a Wednesday before school, then take it down after school. Then he’d be there all day on a Saturday. He loved it, and he said he got more money doing that then he did in his first full time job!
Hi
Yes the remember the material stall, i always went and got my veg and, fruit, the market was always packed.
Come Christmas could not move at times, good memories.
Not a bit like that now, and not for the best.
