Lovely Morning Chit-Chat-Thread - August 2024

Hi all, I'm on part day out, chemo number 5 at 11.45 hopefully my Macmillan chemo parking slot will be available, normally takes around 2.5 hours, tea and biscuits provided, I just read a book.

Hope it all goes well for you today ulls. Parking at the hospital can sometimes be troublesome.   

Good luck with the Lee, the sausages sound like a good pre scan treat. 

I’m off to meet a friend for lunch today, not seen her for a while so will be good to have a good old chat. Ellie I am not looking forward to the next few days of heat! It makes me feel quite sick, so will be indoors in front of the fan. My poor little dog doesn’t like the heat either, I have cool mats, and fans everywhere for her, and try and keep the house as cool as possible. Lots of ice lollies for us both this weekend. 

It's great eh the sausage was good and I slept through the scan , on way home now for a kip Ellie,  hope you're well n your scan goes well

Hi chelle,  was a nice treat now the dreaded wait, hope you're well 

Because it's a chemo day there's no problem parking Macmillan owns some of the car park bay's, there's a big sign warning people there's a big fine if you're not registered for parking. Rest of appointments are a nightmare.
