Hi Dave, I only watch the one Soap (Emmerdale) and they had a cancer story a few months ago but I actually thought they did it quite well.

I'm not shallow but probably I'm boring instead as I don't watch any other soap and never have watched any what they call "Reality Shows'! Why would I waste my time watching people sleeping, like Big Brother etc. Just seeing the trailers put me off! 

I think the problem is they don't know how to make TV programmes these days which is why they are repeating all the older shows ( Morecome & Wise, Only Fools & Horses, Yes Minister etc and old films which are usually better than the up to date ones. If only I could take last years TV license and tell them to just "Repeat It"! Wouldn't that be good!

Hi Chelle, I hope you are not too bruised and feel a bit better today. A slim Santa??? Now I KNOW the world has gone mad! I think someone somewhere is sitting in an office with another lot of idiots saying " now what can we waste now"? I'm surprised they haven't banned fairies yet! I'm with you Chelle, the world was a lot simpler and more fun, back in the day!!

You are so right Chelle, we have lost too many good people this year but they will be remembered!

Moi, I hope they will manage to get your sister feel a lot better and she gets home for Christmas! In the meantime, I hope they are looking after her!

Morning Annette, thanks, just had a message off her, I think they are caring for her ok, but still on medical assessment , no beds on the wards. Yes the telly is all repeating they still charge us to watch it. Have a good day xx

Hi Moi, It's not so good they don't have a bed on the ward but maybe after doctors rounds later in the morning, one will become available if they let someone else home. At least she is getting treated in the meantime.

Moi sorry to hear about your sister. They keep telling us our hospitals are stretched, but it is not until we see it for ourselves we can understand how bad. They keep blaming it all on covid, but the same thing happened to me in 2014, I spent a whole 24 hours in a corridor in A&E as there was no bed, so it is about time the whole system was sorted. I hope your sister is at least getting the antibiotics she needs.

Now I am a huge soap fan, so is mr Simo, I have just seen that on Fridays Eastenders my favourite singer Rag ‘n’ bone man will be making an appearance. Now that has made my soap land Christmas wish come true.  Almost as good as when David Essex was in it back in the day. 

Last couple of Christmas bits to get from the supermarket this morning, and then it’s feet up with a snowball.

I have never watched it but my much better half watched eastenders and she was saying they are doing a cancer story too.  I know what you mean, it would be nice if TV was more Light hearted at times.

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well and ready for the Christmas fun! I have a wee bit of wrapping to do today.  I was supposed to be going for an another coffee and cake!! But I cancelled as I think I have been doing too much and feel knackered and in some pain.  So a wee restful day is in order.
