Well he we go again, if the thread was not so poplar, would not have to do it.

All are welcome Ellie

  • Every day is a cake day Ellie, the research thing was good. A bit emotional in a way as they were talking about end of life care etc bit the cake later made up for it!  I am wiped out here as well, so an early night for me I think.

  • Glad your move went well just in time for Christmas, you'll need a rest. My move wore me out last July, so staying put. Have a lovely Christmas xx

  • Eight i have just git a bakewell tart lol.

I did not know that, was it to do with a hospice or something else,

  •  That is draining Morton,  mental strain is worse i think the physical at ti, not some thing easy to deal with,

  • Thank you everyone, it is indeed lovely to be in for Christmas. We even put the tree up on Sunday. Moi I know exactly what you mean, this move has really done me in. Not helped by the fact that I lost my footing on the stairs, and landed very badly on my back. I tried to catch the banister on the way down and my arm went through and got bent badly as well. I am bruised and battered and feeling very sorry for myself. Grateful I did my Christmas shopping early so all presents purchased and wrapped up before the move, I really would not have the energy this week xx

  • Oh Chelle, Pleased you have moved into your new house and even got your Christmas tree up! Wow! How organised you are but the last thing you needed was to fall. I take it you got your arm X rayed? It is so easy to break bones. At least when you are organised you can sit and rest for a few days now, I think falling gives you a real fright!

I don't know if it's the weather or the time of year but I am tired just all the time these days. Take care!

  • Oh that is horrible, hate the hiccups and they can be really sore.  Hope they have stopped now

  • Hi Annette, I hope you managed to get back to sleep for a bit.  I have been awake every hour so decided a wee cup of tea was in order.   This time of the year is tiring in general but with all the things that we all go through it is 100 times worse I feel.
