Hi all, I had my appointment with the consultant yesterday. It was he said good and bad news. Bad news was it was lung cancer, good news was that it was all removed and there was no spread to lymph nodes. No further treatment needed just 4 Ct scans 6 months apart followed by 3 yearly scans. I think that was a very good result. I can’t quiet believe that I keep dodging the bullet like this, but do hope more of you can do it.

Hi Ellie, thank you, this is very true. Now I just need to build up my energy again so that I can do everything I used to. I think since this is my 3rd rodeo I shall be forever looking over my shoulder waiting for the next cancer attack. My friends think after it trying to get me three times cancer should give up now though!
My daughter in law went with me, it was too much for my youngest son after his own diagnosis but he was over the moon!
love and hugs

Hi Maggie, How terrific that must have been hearing " no treatment needed"! I'm sure you must have wanted to hug him!
The score now is 3 to you 0 to cancer. FANTASTIC! You keep on keeping on!
I'm sure you have cheered up lots of people here, not just me. We love to hear Good News!
Love Annette x
