Here by special request, the latest in the Lovely Morning series.
What a busy morning, finished staining the fence, wife and daughter gone of to do girly things and I'm left to make my own lunch, would you believe it, had to boil kettle and pore in to the cup, and then, yes and then unwrap the sandwiches and cut up a pear all by myself.
Unbelievable!
It's evolution gone wrong, Charles Darwin would be spinning in his grave. Girly things should be to look after the man of the house, the Patriarch,, then involve themselves with a can of Pledge and oven cleaner. If they have lost their way I am happy to put them on the right path.
Make you put the kettle on then cut up a pear, not on my friend, not on.
Well I don’t know. What is the world coming to! I do hope that they get out a bit more often to do girly things and your life skills get the chance to improve. I think I should have a word with them and talk to them about how to get you doing the cooking etc. for them!
I mean why aren’t you with them opening doors for them and carrying all the bags! I mean if you went with them with your wallet you could really enjoy it getting lighter while the bags get heavier!
love and hugs

Sorry Ulls, I've known Maggie from years back, she hasn't mellowed, in fact she has become more truculent!
It's a harsh word to use but accurate. I think I saw her on telly wearing a feminist teashirt whilst glued to the M25. Good luck Ulls, I like you but you are on your own with this.
You can always ask your best friend Ellie for her opinion but they both go back a long way, I think they are peas in a pod.
Tactical withdrawal is the way forwards, or backwards rather I suppose.
So by your logic, the male of the species would have perished from starvation eons ago without a woman around to provide the fodder. How sad is that?
The male provided the fodder, the female cooked it and presented it to the chaps satisfaction. The only time starvation would apply is when the female is a useless cook. Then out with the old in with the new applied. Difficulty resolved.
Fault the logic in that my arty friend!
Game set and match to AA the alpha male, ably assisted by Ulls, the junior male.
We always take our Alpha males to the vet. It always solves a host of problems. Rainie x
