Here by special request, the latest in the Lovely Morning series.
Lemon drizzle, the cake for sophistcates. Any invites to me must be backed up with a large slice of the same.
Well have been outside, water butt is completely full lovely.
Though was not expecting a blocked outside drain, for goodness sake, getting to the end of my tether, rubber gloves, hand and knees, filled buckets thing i have done it, would not mind but have an insurance for that sort thing,
Only so much i can put up with, but always something new to try and sort
What else would i have been doing x
Any excuse to get dressed up with the rubber gloves on!. A picture possibly?
Our rain has petered out. The forecast here shows it's still chucking it down and has been most of the night. As usual, it hasn't. Ground barely damp. Hope we have some more later but I doubt it. They never seem to get it right on the coast.
Cake has turned out to be a vanilla sponge with chocolate and cherries. Happy husband.
Ellie. You deserve a slice after clearing your drain. Put the kettle on. Rainie x
