No, was paid to stop that. Well, stop other people doing it!

  • Hi Mmum, as already stated by Salis a Stottie is a flat round bread about 12 inches across, about 1inch thick after baking, my mam never baked anything in side it, normally cut into wedges which are cut most of the way through to form an enclosed sandwich which you can fill with your favourite fillings, eaten fresh and warm just lovely. And yes it's a northeast food just like peaspudding.

  • I pleased you took the trouble of having a CRB check completed however I'm somewhat bemused, to request a CRB check you would need a reason and far more personal details about me than you currently possess.

I take it you applied via your local constabulary, who keep a record of such requests.

Or shall I assume that your in one of your Walter Mitty periods.

  • Morning all and it's nice and bright. Ulls you mentioned peaspudding a gordie friend used tomake peas pudding and it was gorgeous. She went back to Sunderland I came back to Liverpool.  I have bought it in tins but ìts ñòt as nice as homemade xx

Unfortunately due to having signed a gagging agreement when I left, everything I do is secret.

Walter Mitty, who he? Is he the one who pretends to be me?

I just fell over but luckily the padding on the walls saved me from any injury.

  • Not surprising, it's easy to make, slow cooker, split yellow peas, small white onion, small potato and clear stock cube, or a ham, for flavour. Cook 8 hour remove ham and blend, leve to go cold and eat with sliced ham, or by its self on fresh stottie.

  • Hi Moi there are no geordies in Sunderland only Mackems

  • So that's where Mrs AA keeps you until you're needed, sounds quite comfortable.
