I have finally had the results of my scan from 11 October and I am still a stable mabel

I asked my oncologist whether it is worth having more investigations, he says if I am still stable next summer he would consider referring me back to the surgeons to see if it is worth considering surgery, but he'd be very surprised if I get to summer still stable.

So good news with a dash of seasoning.

Hi Sal, That's great news and I hope you enjoy your break! Wrap up well and you will enjoy it even more!

Sounds to me as if your oncologist should be having a break too! On one hand, he won't want to give you false hope but on the other, no one knows, even the specialists, how long we have!

I'd cheer him up by sending him a postcard! Lol! Enjoy!

That is great news sal, congratulations on the stable Mabel. Oncologist needs a kick up the arse, and you being stable mabel next summer, will definitely put him in his place.
