Hello to all Simons chums. Simon and I try to speak regularly but Simon's call to me today was an unhappy one.
He is struggling and feels he is now close to the end. He asked me to do a post saying how much he appreciated the friendships formed on here and how much he appreciates the best wishes that everyone has sent him.
He is making final arrangements, speaking to family and says he has accepted everything and is ready for anything.
I think he is being very brave and trying to make everyone feel a bit better than they do.
I of course said that we will be having this same conversation at Xmas, that's my plan anyway.
