Hello all.
As you all know Simon has had a bit of a fight with the SCLC. He gave it his best as you can imagine but now is letting the hospice take some of the strain away from himself and his family. I know that his friends on here have been emailing him and when he is up to it he replies. Please continue, just don't expect an immediate response.
If he reads this he will be thinking ...what is that lunatic Norbmeister going on about... he won't want this eulogy but he will want his friends to know.
When I know anything you will know. He will be choking on his breakfast when he sees that I am in charge of him.
Send him our thoughts. And hope he is as comfortable as he can be.
thinking of him
best wishes to him and his family

Please pass my best wishes and prayers on to him Norberry. He and his family are in my thoughts often. Hopefully he will find relief and comfort within the hospice environment. Life is so unfair sometimes and this flipping disease always strikes the good for some reason. I will always remember him for his kind words and understanding and his humour making light of a very difficult situation. Love and prayers. God Bless. Thank you Norberry. Lamb(Mary!)
I will do that Little lamb, I email him frequently and occasionally he will answer his phone.
Well, this is spooky. I was on the phone to Simon's hospice begging for info, I think Simon has told them to blank me, anyway, my mobile rings, Angie picks it up, its Simon!!!
He sounded brilliant, spoke with Angie first then said he didn't have much go left in him to speak to me, about half and hour later we called it a day.!!
He has struck gold with this hospice, he was having a laugh with the nurses whilst we were speaking. He said he has everything he needs, no more chemo, just whatever he wants.
He was desperate to send his thanks to all of you for your kind words, He was overcome with gratitude. So, huge thanks from SiT.
That sounds excellent Norbs, thanks for the update
