I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.

So

1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.

2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.

3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.

I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

What a lovely area to live in. I would still use an ignition key though, I couldn't even get on a bike with two replacement hips. Higger Tor, what a name.

I have been out on my bike twice this year and do have a bit of a balance problem now

I’m fine until a car comes along, Ha ha

    Three good things this week.

    1. Got La Norbettes car washed.

    2. Got my car washed.

    3. Gave my lawns a mow, then used a strimmer to avoid the forget me nots, primroses and primulas.

I am like a Pound Shop TVman.

  • Hi

That looks like a lot of enjoyment on a beautiful sunny day. Oooh you're so lucky having forgotten to lock up before you went.

    Tvman xx

    Love life and family.
  • Yes we are lucky! One time we went on holiday and didn't close the front door, we were lucky then too, especially as it took our neighbour a couple of days to realise were weren't in!

  • 1. Went from Sheffield to Milton Keynes yesterday and Saw our son to give him his 30th Birthday present as today is his birthday. Rented a self catering apartment so we could stay over

    2. saw my mum today, and my sister called in whilst we were there

    3. saw my wife’s sister today as well. Last night away drive home tomorrow

squeezed a bit more than 3 in there I think but two nights away after all this time locked down has been great
