I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.

So

1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.

2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.

3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.

I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Oh Salis - it's okay... We're none of us terribly well you know....

Do you think we should call him "Norker" from now on?

Tinalay summed me up once not long ago ........ batshit crazy.   I think I can abdicate from that title now you two have grabbed the crown. I will quite likely appeal to the moderators, as you are on a written warning this will see you off. ( forgot, can't duscuss that on here, sorry)

Norker, I mean how could that even come to be?

in my defence I'm pretty sure I said some of your posts were batshit crazy...Wink

No moral high ground here, I'm a former nurse from back in the days when nurses were considered over sexed and not very bright!!

Literally can't keep up, where did Norker come from? xx

    3 good things

OH fixed the frozen pipes so a luxurious bubble bath

Fresh bed linen & new Jimmy jams

OH also put up more bird feeders, the garden is teeming with birds and spring is in the air.

For some reason I find 'chums' a really funny word, always makes me laugh Rofl

    xx

I've got to say, oversexed and not very bright nurses, have ticked more boxes for more men than you could ever imagine. SiT will be desperate to put his two bobs worth in once he is back in the real world !

Let's just remember we are all not well you know and introduce some solemnity into the proceedings.

I can't be doing with imagining me driving nurses around in a pink Roller although I'd like to go past SiT at the bus stop and drive through a big puddle.

The forum never used to be so indiscriminating with its membership.  ...... SiT?

Good grief how this group has deteriorated. Here's me just back from a serious op and I find a rabble ruining my nice respectful thread. I am tempted to report you all to the mods.

Now to get back to the serious stuff,

Good thing 1 God bless Tramadol and Oramorph cocktails, I can see the music...

Good thing 2 God bless my daughter who can wash an arse like no other.

Good thing 3 God bless laxatives and all who sail with them. I produced today despite the opiates and feel like a new woman (Hence blessing No 2).

    Carry on chaps .......

    As you were.....
