I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Hi everyone, my 3 good things are not as impressive as Chelle's are.
1 our Daughter arrived on her two weekly visits which are always good, dressed in her normal farmer Gilles outfit but her hair is still a bright pink, I asked if she scared the sheep, she said barrrrr,
2 she brought 3 bunches of flowers for my wife.
3 and a bag of six apples for me
Hi everyone, here's my 3 good things that have happened lately.
1. My youngest son visited yesterday and we went through old photos of him when he was 7/8 years old. He was very cute but he didn't agree last night! But we had fun looking at them.
2. I'm feeling great right now, better than I've felt in a long time. Got a scan on the 28th May so fingers crossed the tumours have shrunk or at least stayed the same size.
3. I've started a jog/walk beginners programme. I'd love to be able to run parkrun again and it may be something I'll never manage again because I've lost so much fitness but I'll keep at it while I can. I'm on week 4 of the programme. I also did a strength workout on Sunday and I'm still feeling it in my legs! But I'm enjoying the pain because I know it's through hard work.
Here's a photo I took of the tulips in the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. It's a beautiful place.

We will have to make this 6 good things, so many people are getting three. It's so good to hear good news.
Christeeniee is that like a couch to 5k programme you are doing. Very impressive. Well done keep it up.
The tulips are beautiful xx
Hi Chelle, it's the Jogscotland absolute beginners programme - very similar to the couch to 5k. My aim is to run continuously for 15 minutes. Then the plan is to do the next programme with the aim of running 5k continuously.

Lovely picture of tulips.
i used to run 10k and I trained by building up slowly. Just by running for a bit longer each time
unfortunately my running days are over because I get breathless. I do walk with the dog and jog for a few yards and enjoy that now xx
Ruth
Hi Ruth
The rest of the gardens was just as beautiful!
It's good that you're still managing to jog/walk, and bet your dog loves it too.
