I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

3 very good things there Richard. Mine today are:
1. We went to Southampton to order a new car. It will be here the end of July, I’m very excited.
2. The garage is right in front of the cruise terminal in town, and there are 3 ships in today. One being the new Celebrity Beyond. It is huge! I can’t wait to get back to cruising.
3. we went for a drink to celebrate the new car. We popped into an old pub at the bottom of town called the Titanic, where I had a pint of Titanic light and Bitter. Very nice indeed x
Just don't book a cruise to the polar regions Chell........ Rainie x
New cars are lovely to have
sounds like a good day x

1) On this morning's walk saw a hare, a deer and a buzzard flying low along the old railway line we walk. (That count's for 3 anyway LOL)
2) Noticed I have hair sprouting on my head YAY !!. (Chemo finished 5 weeks ago)
3) Feet aren't so blooming painful this morning due to peripheral neuropathy!

No, that was my first chemo. I should just about have a reasonable covering when it'll all have to go again at Xmas if my Oncologist is right. I'm assuming I'll lose it all over again, Hubby says he knows what to get me for pressies - more hats than I can shake a bobble at!
