I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.

1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.

2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.

3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.

I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Three good things

I have just done a 21 mile ride on my touring bike, this time last year I thought I would never do anything like this again
We had a lovely pub lunch
We saw deer

Sheer admiration for 21 miles on a bike - and great you are so much better this year than last.

My 3 good things

Friend turned up at lunchtime with some m&s sandwiches, donut and daffs for me. However I was due to meet another friend for lunch at local theatre cafe - so had lunch and dinner with no effort on my part.

Magnolias all about to burst into flower, such a lovely sight.

Saw article saying people with dark humour are more intelligent - many of us on here then.

Havent seen an article showing correlation between intelligence and looks - so will just have to unscientifically agree. We are all beautiful people on here, no matter what we look like!

I must be getting more intelligent, my humour is certainly darker than it used to be! Definitely more good looking too, we're all in the top tier here!
