I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

Glad the chemo is going well.
my old dog still likes to run for the ball.

planning a gender reveal party on the 30 th January very popular in American apparently.
my son is visiting us today from London
3 good things
Ruth
It's all looking up for you OBS after a miserable start. Always great to rant especially amongst friends who will agree with you!
Biggs understands how the world works. He knows he will get the same food whether he runs around or not!

Him, bin day, her socks.
Glad your chemo is going well. 5 mins? Which one is it OBS?
Agree that a good rant is very cleansing. Biggs is such a great name for a Staffie. It really suits. Rainie x
It is Erubulin, a third line chemo treatment. Must be powerful stuff I guess.
Sadly I had a terrible night on Saturday/Sunday with my digestive system ( putting it politely). I have to get used to balancing the laxatives v the opposite to get it right -- like uppers and downers as a friend said . Still early days, so am sure I can get there. Today I feel normal thank God.
Off out with Biggs and Lexi who feel hard done by after hardly any exercise yesterday.

Good you feel normal today. I have to balance my laxatives and don’t always get it right

Three good things
A cruise was never on my bucket list, but since I'm not up to the hiking or cycling holidays we used to enjoy I thought we could try something new!
Sarah
Three spectacular things Sal, well, well deserved.
You will love a cruise, don't think you will be stuck with people, get a table for two if you want a quiet time.
You can just sit on the deck being brought cocktails whilst watching dolphins! Jealous doesn't cut it!
Xxx
Wife wants to know what type of puppy does your daughter have and what cruise line are you going with? We will be going later in the year but a pile of appointments to get through before then!
I thought this forum was a bit confidential, obviously not!
Xx
