This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.

We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.

So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.

Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

It's best to see gp to get what she needs and get a fit to fly as it may be okay now but when it's time to come home there may be more spots and they may say no way to flying then she will have the hassle of sorting it that end???

    It's a tough one, I hope they don't s their break.

    Nic,

I have a strong opinion on this one, so forgive me, as a friend of mine lost a baby at 26 weeks because she had come into contact with the Chicken pox virus in early pregnancy.

My girl felt ok when she got the first spots but within days was so miserable and itchy, I can't imagine being in a hot country with it all to deal with.

    Good luck.

    Love

    Mel X

Take a sprinkling of fairy dust,
    An angel's single feather,
Also a dash of love and care,
    Then mix them both together.
    Add a sentiment or two,
    A thoughtful wish or line,
A touch of stardust, a sunshine ray...
It's a recipe, for a Baby Girl truly fine.

    Museltov !!!!!

    Hi everyone

Becky - just wanted to say I'm glad you got through your birthday ok last week and sorry I didn't get to wish you Happy Birthday on the day. I know how tough it must have been. Good luck for Sunday X

Donna - glad you have changed your name back! X

Em - glad you are back with us again. We missed you and love you loads X

Cath - my little lad (year younger than yours) is always mentioning age and talks about people dying. He has even said that we (his mum and dad) won't always be here, that we will die one day. I totally agree that kids of that age can be affected by losing someone close, they grieve in their own way and it can take some time, as it does with us. How are you feeling at the mo? X

Nic - it's ok to hold on tight to the rope but whatever happens, we're not going to let you fall into the big black hole! Your night last night - not a bit sad - bottle of wine and BB - sounds good to me! X

Jac - I'm thinking of you and your family and sending strength filled hugs with love X

young SAM Sam - good to see you posting. Hope you have a good weekend hun X

Rochelle - thinking of you and your Mum. Big hugs X

Dawn - hugs for you too. We are all here for you, whenever you need us X

Bern - thanks for the hug. Hope you have an exciting weekend planned X

Kelsey - I hope your meeting with the Mac nurse went ok today. It's a tough time for you hun and we're all with you X

Oi Mushroom!!! What you done with Mellybub??? Bring her back immediately! Love you hun & hope your day has been ok, I've been thinking of you my friend X

Michelle - hello and welcome to the thread. I hope you find some comfort from sharing with us all here. I know what you mean about wanting to stay at home away from the outside world but having a weekend with the girls might do you loads of good X

Den - such lovely news. A girl - I am envious as would have loved to have a girl as well but, too old now methinks! So pleased for you X

Lesley - hope your week has been a better one than last week X

Helen - ooh not long now hun and you be catching me up big style!! Will defo be speaking to you tomorrow. Well, I have to wish you a happy 40th now don't I??? Loves you mate, hope you having a good evening with your lad X

Wendy - we expect results by Monday!!

Everyone - our Wendy has had an urge to clean the house! It's called nesting I believe and happens just before things are imminent - am I right girls? So watch this space, we could all be made cyber aunties over the weekend!

Well everyone, I can no longer be referred to as 'the alchie' or 'a wino' as I have turned over a new leaf! No more than the recommended 14 units per week for me from now on! OMG, how bloody boring!!!

    Love you all,

    OLD Sam X

ps thank you all for your lovely messages and support yesterday. It was one of the worst days griefwise that I've had. Has to be done though and today, I'm feeling a lot stronger. Have a good weekend all X
