This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.

We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.

So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.

Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

    Happy Sunday.

Afternoon all. Things are better this end. Not quite sure what happened last week but its over and I'm ready for the new one. Louise has finished her exams now so things are a bit less stressful. I received an email from someone special today asking for my lovely dad's name to go on a shirt from someone extra special who's running the race for life. Thank you Mel and especially to you Sam. You'll never know how much I appreciate it. I only wish I could be there to cheer you on (and am very ashamed I'm not doing it myself!) my dad will be toasting your success, wine was much more important to him than exercise! He'll be with you every step of the way.

Thank you again you are all (each and every one of you) wonderful, truly amazing people and I'm fortunate to have you as friends.

    Keep doing it.

    Lesley

    Sam,

    How did it go?

Did someone have to dangle a bottle of wine from a string and hold it in front of you to get round? Or did you have a bottle tied round your neck with a straw coming out of it?

Hope you did and that your lovely GP was there to witness it !!!!!

    Hope all went fabulously well.

    Well done, your a star.

    Love

    Melly X

    Hey all,

I just heard from Wendy and ............................................The baby is......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................still in Mummy's tummy !!!!!!

She is having a few problems logging on from home, but hopes to have them sorted today.

She swears that this will probably be the first baby to be born a toddler.

Glad you survived the birthday weekend Nic.

    Love to all

Junior giant: Shock for 5ft-tall mother who gave birth to a 14lb 8oz baby boy

    by LUCY LAING
    Last updated at 08:11 27 November 2007

As a first-time mother, Sara Herman thought it was only to be expected that she had an enormous bump after five months.

What she and doctors failed to realise was that the petite mother-to-be, who is only just over 5ft, was expecting a giant.

When Jack eventually arrived at 37 weeks he weighed an astonishing 14lb 8oz.

    Scroll down for more...
