I've arrived - yay I've found you all! Picked up Mel's post about half an hour ago and got up to page 27 catching up on the posts. How lovely to be wanted - I heard you asking to get my a55 over!

This is a cosy set up and I feel at home already.

Mel - I stayed in a house in Florida which was beautiful. There were 6 of us and we requested 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. We got 4 bedrooms, one of them HUGE - no funny business but it fitted 4 of us in bed (inc 2 men - we did know them-they came with us) for an early morning chat when we suffering with jet lag, 2 lounges, a formal dining area 4 bathrooms blah blah. My main piece of advice would be to do as they tell you and start off your tour of the park from the back to the front. You really don't hit the crowds that way. It's tiring too so make sure you have time off between the parks.

Em - I hear you re the irresponsible mother - too many of them about and we're all expected to suffer. A special needs child can expect leniency but it doesn't mean his mother can!

Helen - Hello!!!!!!!! I came eventually - never had a very good sense of direction!

Bern - I can't stay away from the words of wisdom.

Sam - Hey don't quiet on us for fear of upsetting someone.

Well going to surf the net a bit before sitting down. Been bashing away at my computer all day. Work's manic but I love my new job and am so much happier here than I was in my last job. I can't believe I've only been there for 7 weeks this week. I feel like I'm part of the furniture.

Ahhh, it's so nice to be here I'm putting my feet up and settling in now.

I'm away for a few days and yay...its all happening here. Jac, just don't have any of that tiger bread around. You won't be able to say your vows through a full mouth of bread!!! Oooo sounds wonderful. Have you spoken to the minister/ priest? Music...what you having? Cake - do you have a M&S your way? Their wedding cakes are fab and cheap - we had that at ours.

Hi all

Busy day yesterday, not at home much so didn't get chance to post. Went to the doctors (have to have annual blood tests for my kidney) and got to talking about alcohol - guess what - she thinks I'm an alcoholic!!! Just because I like to have a drink in the evenings at the weekend! I told her that I could give it up if I had to, but don't want to as I enjoy the social side of it, having a drink with hubby at the weekend. Don't think there's much wrong with that - what do you all think? Do tell me as well, I'm worried about touching a drop now! Also made a complete idiot of myself as broke down a bit when telling her about Dad and everything and she wants me to contact the hospice, who offer grief counselling after six months. Mmmm, not too sure about that one.

Sam, you missed an oppotunity for a right wind up.

As you were talking you should have pulled a bottle of vodka out of your Bra with a straw in it. When the Doctor gave you a look you could have said "It's ok, it's only water" and as you were sipping away mumble "Russian 48% proof Water"

Next time go in with a mini bar on a pull along trolley, wearing a bacardi t-shirt and one of those sipping bear hats that the cans sit in.

Counselling sounds good though, I'd give that a shot. I'd try anything me, beats compulsive eating. Maybe we could open the first ever chocolate and wine bar ?
