This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.

We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.

So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.

Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

Oh Wendy, it is exciting that you could be a mummy by the end of the week and I'm so glad that you are feeling calm hun. It would be great if the pipster was born on Friday, as it's my birthday and we could have a double celebration!!

I've been dreading my birthday this year, for obvious reasons but, like you Den, I've decided to try and be happy and enjoy myself, knowing that is what my Dad would want. I'm too am going to do something special on Father's Day, in memory of my wonderful Dad and, of course, hubby will be expecting to be pampered all day!

Em - you might feel as though you are heading down as the first anniversary nears but, you know that we won't let you fall too far as we will all be here waiting to pull you back up my friend XX

We need more animations on this thread. Do you not know that more is more, not less is more. I want colours, boogie boys, flowers, rainbows, balloons, laughing ladys and elephants, and yes in exactly that order !

So get to work on it now, because it's going to take you a loooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggg time (in josleyn brown voice)

I cannot believe that in seven weeks time Dad has been gone for a year, I am in shock at just how low I have become over the last few days.

Sorry if I have upset anyone with my ramblings I did'nt mean too.

I could'nt have travelled this far on my journey without you guys so BIG thank you's

stupid machine just deleted my post before i'd posted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway i think it said:

don't feel bad hun. I know exactly how you feel and what you are going through. it feels like such a short time since we lost our precious dads and yet instead of saying to people, i just lost my Dad, i have to say, i lost my dad last year - it doesn't feel right because it still feels so raw.

The next few weeks will be tough but it's just another stage and another step to walk along and get through - and we will get through it especially with this lot on here pushing and pulling us through!

Oh and don't you be claiming top rambling spot - that's me that is!! :-))

Cath, Thank you for making me feel I am not "strange" for feeling the way I do although it may be we are both "strange".lol XXX

Well (((((((((((((((((huge)))))))))))))))'s to everyone feeling a little better today although still very tearful, thanks Barb for the kick up the a### and your tuesday hugs always help make me feel better.

There are so many date's for us all in the next few weeks/months but I have crumbled but started climbing the rope I will get through this and I refuse to let myself down.
