This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.
We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.
So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.
Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

So lady of brave, how have you managed without us all? Did you go cold turkey? I had a three week holiday in America and thought my right arm had been amputated when I was unable to post.
Lesley, great to see you back. Hang onto the cold turkey, you will have lots of that at Christmas time. Groan...bad joke to Mels comment!!!!

Sam - how did it go yesterday? I bet its tough sweet talking through emotions. I am proud of you honey, cause you are confronting your grief. Its gotta hurt to get better. If you don't headbutt this grief, the fear comsumes you, it takes over your life. That can't happen cause instead of remembering the love you share with your dad, thoughts of your dad bring pain. Your dad would never hurt you and I have a feeling he would rather you didn't think of him, if it meant you would be painfree. Don't give up Sam, you will smile again. A smile deep in your heart. x

I feel I'm kinda out the loop at the moment, as I have been here a bit adhoc, so please forgive me if I fail to say something to you.
I know some of you in particular are struggling at the moment. Please hang in there as much as you can. I know when the days are dark, they just seem to get darker and the ray of hope becomes a distant speck. Now, feel the love I am sending your way, cause this is fighting time when you are in the midst of this. I'm fighting for you. Cause you will dig your heels in and as much as you feel pain, make sure you savour the good in your life...
Feel like there isn't any....well, look around you. See those that ARE there. Do, whatever it is you need to make that speck of light come closer. Cause, you won't get lost, you will not wander alone forever. How do I know this? Well, I have seen a glimpse of your souls, I have seen the love you feel. I know you are not alone. You are stronger than you realise. So drift for a while if you need to. Your batteries will re-charge and the darkness will lift.
