    Hey Michelle,

How you doing honey? Glad your feeling a bit better today. I pinged a thread for you yesterday.... I found it good for me and over time I have read it. It is about the stages of grieveing and dependent on where you are, depends on how uselful it is. The one thing though, is you realise when grieving that all the feelings, emotions you are going through are normal. You are not going mad...which I think everyone feels. So hang in there honey. grief is still a personal battle against this illness. It wo't win, cause it can't ever take away the love and fighting spirit. Its our job - bloody hard battle - which you will win. I promise you. If I can, anyone can.

Shift at 5am, uck, that sounds illegal!!! Now get to bed !!! Love me xx
I wish we had the money that I could be a lady that lunches, sadly hubby does a job he loves and his name is not Gerry Macguire!!!

    Hey Bern,

I didnt see the thread yesterday, but is it the one Mel used, as i have seen read that one, but not for a while, so may take a refresh on it. Thanks for your lovely words, this thing called c*****r is so sh***e, before Dad became ill, I never paid too much attention to it when I heard TV progs about it or read articles on it ...... now i find it so consuming! But as you have said, it cant take away our love, thats is by far stronger.

5am... it sounded an ok idea when I agreed to do it, but now, cant believe Ive got to go to bed soon... feel wide awake.

Me thinks the lady the lunches scenerio must get boring after a while, maybe "lady that lunches twice a week, then works her bloody socks of the rest" would be just right!!

Just been reading the threads about "profiles" .... cant believe that would happen, seems to have got many people riled, if it is true then I hope they take a very long hard look at themselves in the mirror and double the honourable thing and walk away from the site .... have u found out who it is yet?

right I need a wee and haven't even got ready....sorry you didn't need to know that. Micheel, I am pinging it up to the top again

Don't worry about the knobs, there are always ones out there. Its life. The fact that they are here, is neither here nor there. It just gets everyone here more united. Don't worry about it.

Right gotta go, or I am in BIG trouble for making us late xx

    Sam, Bern & Michelle

Thanks so much for your good wishes and encouragement. It means the world.

Dad hasn't been good for a few weeks suffering with terrible sickness. However 2 days ago he became very muddled and confused. The GP did a home visit to check on his medication. He was taking too much of one form of medication but she's reluctant to think that was the only cause. Her gut feel is that something is going on in the stomach area with a spread to the brain. However, we have to await a scan which is next week. We obviously know the effects of that if it turns out to be the case...

He was terribly sick again last night but less confused today.

    Will keep you posted.

Bigs hugs to all my friends here.

    Morning All,

Looks like fun and games and fireworks kicked off here last night!!!

Kelsey - fingers crossed for the scan. Do you think it has gone to the brain? Prepare yourself honey. Hang in there sweetheart. My dad had loads of the b'stard in his brain, he slept quite a bit. My concern was that he wouldn't recognise me, that didn't happen and he was always himself - at times confused, but forget about those. Now start making sure you are taking vitamin tablets and the likes, build up your immune system. Be careful, so you don't get run down, stress causes that happen. Big hugs, we are all here for you

Sam - hope you having a good day. Do you have wii at home?? Well, last night we played and I won twice playing bowling. Talk about our host being competitve. ha ha. Don't think we will be invited again!! I want one now, will have to get a job first!!!

Em - sending you positive thoughts and lots of smiles.

SAM Sam - how you doing honey, you have been very quiet recently. Has the pink one tied you up?!!

Helen - how you doing? Where you going to? Are you in Nic or Mels suitcase?? Well, why didn't I get asked to join you. I need a holiday....we talked holidays last night and now I have itchy feet. Don't think it will happen though, not unless we win the lottery!

Rochelle - hope you are as well as can be expected. You not been around much honey. So sending you some extra big hugs

Michelle - 5am, did you make it???

Jac - a big hug for you today. I hope today brings more mishaps from the kids and more smiles for you and DH. Another big hug for you lady. You are superb, I hope you realise that

Lesley - hey mrs you still around? Or maybe you have been and I just read this site with my eyes closed at times!!

Wendy - hope you and Will are tip top. Oooo give him a big raspberry on the belly from me!!!

Dawn and Den - just in case you are popping back in. Here is a big MWAH to you lovely ladies and I have my feather duster ready to tickle you!!

Holidays peeps - well you are making me very jealous. I hope you are having an ab fab time with the doll in your suitcase....you do need to let her out of it you know!!

Big Love to you special people. Love Me xx
