Hi,
Just popping on quickly to say thanks for last night, that bit of banter made me smile and thanks em for inviting me here. Have got my first shift back at Gatwick this afternoon/evening since knocking on the head for abit when Dad started going down hill. Am not looking forward to it, especially as I'll be having to talk to the passengers about where they are flying too..... booo wish i was going. Still have a nice weekend planned with girlfriends, one of them is mad enough to have 4 30'somethings to stay for the weekend with lots of wine, takeaways and girlie chats. The change of scenery wil do me good, although one part of me is quite happy to stay in my own little home and not face the world yet.
Nic, Ive just read your post, and although I'm not a nurse, Chicken pox is extremly contagious. My eldest picked it up from nursery last year, and the first day she had the spots she was fine, then for about 4 days after she really really suffered, was up all night with her, but not every child reacts the same. If I remember correctly they are still contagious until the last spot has blistered over .... its a tough one as to whether to go on holiday. A few tips I was told, was to put baking soda in bath and an ointment by Benalyn (cough mixture people) for rashes etc worked really well too.
Anyway, have a nice weekend, Michelle xxxxxxxx
