    Kelsey,

Can't we just eat chocolate? That's team building. Bonding over mars bars.

As far as the unsympathetic nurse, just bear her in mind when you are all mended, then wear your best stillettos to work and crush her little digits !!!!

Oh, and what did they give you for pain relief diclofenac?

    Hey Mel

Thank you for making me smile. I did go to the fridge for chocolate today only to find my husband had eaten it all!

No I was told to take Ibruprofen. In any case I can't take Diclofenac as it makes me sick.

Well she's not nursing any more (thank goodness I hear you cry!) she's a manager of nurses and is one of those people that ran a marathon a day after her coronary bypass etc etc. Ho hum will just have to get on with it tomorrow.

Good to have you back. Hope you lost weight from your sickness because then you will feel extra good about eating chocolate yippeeee!!

Afternoon all, we just put the lids on DH's memory boxes for the children, he has one for each of them...when you open them they are like an Aladin's cave...lots to touch and look at. Last night was the hardest as he set to write each child a letter. He kept them short and to the point but they melted my heart. Today each child was made a mini photograph album and a larger snap of them with their daddy. It has been a tracically difficult experience but one which we'd not change.....the love and care that DH put into each box could never be replicated. I am proud to be his wife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a less somber note, made peace with the nurse...felt strange having to apologise for our stress, but needs must...told her of Dan's dreams, his funny sleep patterns and felt better for it...in a way? His alterness could be down to the fact that he is on the right level of medication...too much, too sleepy, too little, need to sleep to ignore the pain.....here's hoping then.

Me and the children, we are shattered, but then again, whats new?

Hugs to you all! School finishes tomorrow....agggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
