This is the start of a new journey for me and my much loved friends from the original Oesophegus thread on general discussions.
We have become a close group and this will be our new home to continue our journey as life has become very hard for many of us and we keep re-living our journeys with lots of newbies which puts us all back a bit.
So my lovely friends Mel, Sam, Helen, Bern, Jac, Nic, Dawn, Sue, Cath, Lesley, Jani and the many other special friends Mel and I have made over the last 16 months this is it we have a new home.
Love to all and extra strength to carry us through our next stage XXX

Bern I hope you did OK, I think it was today?
Well I've broken my toe so I haven't made it towards my computer. Hubby stood on my foot accidentally and now I can't walk at all because the pain is so bad when I try to! So I have to hop (that wasn't nice after a couple of glasses of red wine and a Chinese take away. I had to lie down at the top of the stairs on my way to bed last night cos I felt sick with everything sloshing around inside!) or crawl and that hurts my knees! So on Saturday morning I was in the casualty department of the hospital where I work (joy being back at work on a Saturday!) I'm told broken toes heel quickly. It's right at the base so partially into my foot which is why I don't think I can weight bear. Hopefully I won't be off my feet for long and I don't own many pairs of flat shoes which is a problem. Fortunately one of the three pairs I bought last week was flat but my foot is too swollen to get it on!

Had a busy weekend, body shop party Friday at mine over 40 people!!!! as Tony had invited everybody's partners and kids to tag along it was actually more like 60 if you include the kiddies. Saturday night at boxing which was great followed by a "stop over" ;-) at a hotel. So now feeling exhausted with extremely bad hayfever today.
I am a bit of an emotional wreck right now so my mind is all over the place, but know that I love you all XXX
well I don't really ache, so yipppeeee!!! I did it. I ran most of the way anyway and did it in 37 mins. I have never run 5k before, so bloody marvellous.
