Well i only got them during the night and am currently looking after my little 5 yr old charge and it is bucketing with rain so there is slittle or no chance of me getting to a chemist!! I'm hoping the anti histhimine will kick in soon and not make me drowsy!!
Hopefully I shant get bitten this week when I am in scotland!! Although I do rememer the midges from when i lived there... swarms and swarms of them!!! How can such a little insect have such a huge effect on ones itch system?!?!?!
Erin, I used to joke that they laid in wait for us to open the door, as my hubby had just been diagnose with diabetes, used to say they wanted his sweetness! and also the change from whisky to beer as he prefers beer to scotch! It just really was always worst at night, interrupting a decent sleep, pesky wee things!
His invention of map holder worked but needs some modification, so I guess he'll be out there in the garage workshop today.....the weather isn't too good so testing might be a different day....
I have had a somewhat disturbed night, had Caz phoning in a panic, power had partly gone in her house, fortunately it was merely a fuse which had 'tripped' but typically it was 2am when I had that phone call....what a lass! She almost turns the clock about, but as a musician, that's how she is!
Just had to tell you about my Saturday night, i agreed to babysit so my daughter could go out to celebrate her friends birthday, at 2.30 the phone woke me, my daughter, 'ive lost my keys, can i come to yours?' i stood at the window waiting to let her in, taxi pulled up, out staggered my daughter, bare feet, shoes in hand, managed to throw her in bed without waking kids up, next morning, her keys were found in her friends bag ???? its funny now but i wasnt amused on the night haha
