Hello, Shell, all is ok, thanks, Caz rang hubby early yesterday, she said the storms were awful over in Spain, well, we know that from Lynne and Den, but she is now basking in the sun (not!) and is very busy indeed, teaching...her Master Class went very well, which is great as I know she wasn't looking forward to it though she had done all the preparation before hand, and her previous teacher before she went to college was going to be one of her pupils on it!
I'm still in her house, got today for the rest of CD recording and then a 'wrap' party, then am home tomorrow again, Caz will land and be collected by me or hubby from Luton on Tuesday....love and big hugs, hope you are feeling better....
Donna, sweet, thank you for your message, though it's now tomorrow! almost 2 am here.....and I need to go to bed....what a brilliant experience this has been, though, got chatting to the recording engineer, who said he has listened to very many recordings of Elgar's Dream of Gerontius and he thinks this one will go down as the definitive example, so it was terrific being a small part of it! We had Paul Groves, an American Tenor as Gerontius, too, so you were sort of represented!
I'm finding I have to pinch myself to realise that I was there, I did do that, I have the autographed vocal score, and photos in the hall, and there WILL be a CD as evidence!
