Hi I have some good news. My neices father in law has just been told he is in remission (again). He had AML about 9 years ago, got over it with chemo. It came back this year and he has had 2 lots of chemo and is now in remission. Although he has been told to 'enjoy the next 12 months' because they suspect it may come back, and IF it does, they will not give any more chemo because of his age. But HEY, he has another 12 months at least, and at this point in time is feeling well. Good news or WHAT?????????????? I'm raising a glass (or two) to him this evening. Love to you all jayne xxxxx

Wayhay, I have some very funny news.....Caz's former trombone teacher just before she went off to music college just rang her to ask if he can go on her course in Spain!!!!! She said that if he does, he can take her Jazz master class for her, or else! She found it really hilarious, her old teacher wanting to be her student!!!!!
Well, lots to try and do tomorrow, so am off to bed, am very tired due to needing to get Caz up at 5.30 this morning, I couldn't get back to sleep...it was a really beautiful morning, so I just pottered about and did some stuff that wasn't noisy so I didn't wake T.....night night all....
Well, today I have to take Caz to the airport to leave for Spain, she managed to change her flight and now she has had a good night's sleep she will at least cope with the flight and the start of the course which she is about to instruct....we don't yet know if her former teacher will be one of her pupils!
Well, haha, her former teacher will indeed be a pupil out in Spain, we just got back from dropping her (with cold, sniffling!) at Luton airport to go to Alicante......it will just be SO funny for her! But she says a brilliant trombonist will also be doing tutoring and she hopes to get a private lesson herself!
