Karen, sweetheart, that was such a lovely message, made me old eyes misty! Am now at Caz's, but just staying long enough to get me head down, after the rehearsal in Manchester, some kip and then back home tomorrow, so am not going on the forum other than this......love and hugs to all......

Dear Deer Stalker Karen, am here at Caz's on my own, she is elsewhere, so no, no brekkers in bed, lol, and have to get going pretty early as have an appointment back home at 3pm!!!!!!!Fortunately the bus stop is handy, and it stops very near the station! Will be here again on my own, most of next week, too, as its the concert and recording then.....rehearsals Tuesday, Wednesday, concert Thursday, recording Friday and Saturday, THEN I really WILL be shattered!!!!Caz will be teaching in Spain!
Well, home again, appointment done, piano tuner finished, and can now relax......till it's time to cook dinner, lol! Caz told me today that she is working in Preston, and won't get home here till some unearthly time on Sunday, then has to get off to London by 9am, then has a wee rest back here, not to sleep, cos there won't be time, as she has to be at Heathrow for 4am Monday!!!!!! How she'll feel, I really don't know, think they will have to shake her awake when the plane lands in Spain!
Things are a little difficult at the moment. Dad has been in hospital again, ended up with pneumonia and is now quite bed ridden. Mum unfortunately has been told that she has to have an operation on her bowel and that it's likely to be cancer - which I'm assuming would be secondaries. I don't know what else life is going to throw at her.
I go over next weekend but if they call Mum in sooner than that then I'll go then to look after Dad.
If Caz can get loads of sleep it will do her the world of good - make her stronger physically and mentally!
Morag, that is such miserable news for you, and will entail you trying to be there for them as well as managing your own life......very hard to do, you poor thing! And you won't feel right, whichever you do most of......
Caz has a great knack of getting loads of sleep which she always has done, as a teenager she spent most of her weekends in bed! Her record then was surfacing by 5pm!......so her practise has stood her in good stead for her professional life as a musician, she regularly gets home well into the early hours if she has gone somewhere well away form home to perform!

hehehehehehehehehe!!!! Just done a job for our son's work, some curtain alterations, hems and so on, he wouldn't take any notice of the fact that I said,'no payment', and I now have arranged a huge bouquet of Freesias into 3 vases! so the house smells gorgeous! bless him!
