P.S. Give Caz a very big gentle and warm (((((((hug))))))) us all at this end.
Will give her a big hug.......today we need be at the Christie for 9.30, since it's about an hour's drive that will leave us rush hour traffic, grrr, ah well, never mind........

What a long day, at least we had a break while they got the Gemc ready, it had to be a half dose as white cells are rather low, so had to be specially done, so we went off Christmas shopping, as you do, lol! Just got to her home.......hopefully will sleep longer tonight, but need to be back home for a 7.30 rehearsal, so need to get home for s bit to eat first!
love and hugs to you all

Well, it was 7pm when Caz finished, we saw the doc after her bloods, and as half expected, white cells were down. she had the choice of having a half dose of chemo or missing a week, so she opted for the half dose which meant at least a three hour wait while it was made up.....hmm, what to do, to go back home, wait an hour and then come back? (it is about an hour's drive) well, in the end as it was starting to rain, we went off to the Trafford Centre, Caz had a nap in the car while I shopped, then she called me, had a call from the Christie, so began driving back, another call, ooops, the chemo was full strength, so back to shopping, luckily I hadn't driven far! This time she and I both shopped together and got some ideas for each other....and I found an extra pressie for hubs too.
She was fine last night, I went up the village for a take-away.....she ate so well! Still have to see how she is today, with the steroids that late I expect she didn't get to sleep very early!
As for me, well, I had a tumble yesterday morning, was in such a deep sleep I overbalanced when jumping up at the alarm clock! Have some VERY colourful; bruises, including my chin which I caught on some furniture (thank goodness for concealer!)
Trains are only every 2 hours today, some problem at Watford, grrr, so may need to get one earlier than I'd planned.....ah well, life's rich pattern, eh? love and hugs to all
