We did well yesterday, ok she was late surfacing, but that is her, she enjoyed a really good breakfast, and later we cleared the leaves and I cut the lawn, she raked all the grass and leaf mixture off. It looks good now. A good 4 bin bags full!
Then we had a restful evening, chatted to her brother on line, and suddenly decided to cut and hem the last of her curtains in her bedroom at 10pm! Looks really good and she is delighted with the result!
She was editing video till awfully late,( told her off)......but she will give me a lift to the station this afternoon, she's really happy to be feeling this well, long may it continue.....and said the node in her neck feels a bit different already.....but as she says, it's early days.
love and hugs to you all

Helen, your Caz puts mne to shame. I find myself some days unable to motivate myself to do anything. Here she is, undergoing gruelling treatment and she is taking things in her stride. Well done to her. I did know your son was on the CD but hadn't realised it was not his profession. My daughtrer trained as a dancer but circumstances made her change direction and she is now training to be a physiotherapist. At the moment she is on an Oncology and Respiratory placement which is going to be traumatic for her as her grandma had major respiratory problems and her father had lung cancer. I want to wrap her in cotton wool to protect her but of course we can't do that can we.
Take care Helen and I hope the autumn leaves do not give you too much trouble. Such a shame that the leaves have to shed when they look so beautiful.
Love and angel hugs x x x Patricia x x x
Dearest Helen,

HI Helen..glad to hear Caz going on ok..do hope new treatment is effective..sounds like She got through it well.what happens next?It would be big help for Her to have you there supporting Her..it is so important for us to be there for our loved ones isnt it.
not been on here till tonight..as Ian is back in hospital since last sunday having second lot of R=IVE..going on ok so far..but you know how suddenly when the chemo kicks in things change..hopefully He will be out weekend..if all goes ok..expecting Him to go down with an infection after 7 days..as this seems to be norm for Him!have to keep going forward& getting through all the downsides!
thinking of you &very best wishes to Caz.
love Sue.
Hi, Sue, she has two further Gemcitabine infusions for this course, then a Monday off, then another course, which will take us to 20th December if her bloods tolerate it, then in early January a PET scan, if she has a complete or partial remission, it's off to Donor transplant. If not, then her Prof will try to add other drugs or try to get her onto another trial.
She had company last night, her housemate and another friend too, and was treated to a Guinness, her doc said she could on Wednesday!
Slept such a lot last night! love and hugs to you all
