    Hi Helen,

What's on the menu tonight???? ooooooooooo I am so hungry, although please don't throw the left overs I am not good at ducking hahaha.

Hope you are well and also dear Caz is well rested, being back with her lovely mum and dad, I know she will have, having both her lovely parents around her.

  • hahaha, what are you hungry lot like? Today it was indeed left overs!

Caz enjoyed her day off but was off around midday and won't get back till around 1am or so! Tomorrow it's similar, then Sunday I think she's off back home again. It's been good to have her here, but tiring! she keeps such different hours, and we now have need for getting up early again several days a week! Ho-hum!

love and hugs to you all

It is lovely to have our children come to stay, I do understand how tiring it is for you.

Love to you both and a warm ((((((((((hug))))))))) for you all.

  • Tonight I won't need to drive her home from the station, yay, one of the band lives about 18 miles further north and will drop her off, bless her!

Just have to get up tomorrow early to drive hubs to BP and then her to the station to go home again.....yo-yo tomorrow, lol! (who remembers yo-yo's?)

  • Actually it wasn't the band member, it was her primary school best friend who she got a ticket for to see the show! They have kept in close touch for all these years!

She's now safely on the train up to the next Dr Who Live show, having put the Chris Moyles Quiz night in the bag! (last night was the Christmas show!)  she is tired, bless her, looking forward to a duvet day soon!

she asked if I'd be ready to go up for the first chemo on the 8th, depending on what her housemate/good friend is doing (who seems to be able to sort her own timetable out since she often works very long and odd hours!) so I might need to take the train up there myself.....thank goodness for a senior rail card, it's well worth buying it!

  • If any of you read 'Love It', there is a cheesy story in there about Caz and her friend, some of the facts aren't too accurate, but hey, never mind!

love and hugs to you all

    Hi Helen,

I don't often read magazines now, 'R' was the girl to buy these and now she is no longer living here I don't get to flick through them, but I will buy this one seeing as your lovely girl is featured.

Hope you are feeling lots better today, and managing to eventually get that lie in,

Many warm ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to you both.

  • Caz hasn't caught THE COLD, or whatever it is.......thank goodness, she says it's because of her small but  regular intake of Guinness (though my hands got sore with all the washing and hand gel, thank goodness for a good cream, lol!) ! She is going to be home for a day or so after tonight's shows in Nottingham, looking forward to seeing the decorating and tiling that's been done in her absence, will be emailing photos to us so we can see too! We need to get up there to put up the blind for her, it's a bit awkward as it is a deep window with a slope so it will need wedges. Then her room will be complete with it's new make-over!

    love and hugs to all

    Hi Helen,

So pleased to hear that dear Caz did not catch your cold, bless you I know how much of a worry this has been for you all.

Hope you are feeling better today, and still taking things as easy as you can.

It is a lovely day here today, quite warm, after the very cold weather over the latter days, wish it would make up it's mind what it is going to do. Hope you have warm sunshine too.

    Many ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to you both.
