Mary, I was beginning to think you will all be doubting that I am genuine when you see how amazing she looks! But honestly, it IS true, she DOES have HL and is getting towards the crunch for treatment now in spite of being so well! At least she does have the very best of chances since she is so very well at present, she'll be giving herself the best possible start.......
love and hugs to you all on here.....

Your beautiful talented daughter is an inspiration to us all........... When I'm feeling low I often listen to her CD and feel ready to carry on our battle again......I admit there are tears at times when I listen to her - but I know that Caz will fight as hard as she can to continue her good work in the world of music and all else she does..............I am sure we are all proud to say 'I know her and her lovely Mum' - even if we've never met face to face.......
Comforting (((((((hugs))))))) for you Helen for whenever you fell the need of them

Just joining the group.
The bad news - mum was diagnmosed with terminal cancer last Tuesday and has only weeks (a couple of months if we are really lucky). Don't think there is much of her body untouched by this menace. At 62, not sure I am ready to let go or say goodbye - seems too young.
The good news - until 3 weeks ago she had no idea so it wasn't niggling away in her head for years which meant she lived a normal life and done what she wanted to do. But, even better, the doctors hope to be able to send her home by the weekend which means she will be there for my husbands birthday and to watch her grandkids run round the garden. That has to be worth a smile.
I'm happy with that x
Ah, Lizzie, what a horrible blow, but so lovely she might be coming home to you all soon.......now might be the right time to involve her in making a memory box for the family, she will know where and how her special memories would help and where family photos and history is.....hope things work out for you......best wishes to you all
Moomy
Thanks - I had thought of memory boxes. Problem at the moment is that she can't quite get her head round the idea of dying - she has banned us from using the term pallative care!!! Will have a chat. Another idea I had was trying to get her to buy some presents for the kids which can be put away for years to come.Hope all is well with you xx
Dearest Helen,
Just for you dear friend.
Love Maryxxxxx
