Hi Helen,
Just saw on the local news about the 1940s days they've just had at Bletchley Park. I know you weren't working there, but it made me think of you, so thought I would drop in. Hope you've had a good weekend & hope Caz got away ok..
xx
P.S. Lovely photos.. xx
Hi, Marmalade, yes, we were asked if we'd be available, (gather they had loads of visitors) but with Caz needing to be got organised and to Heathrow early today, well, it wasn't on.......also I've not been too good with a nasty feverish cold that gave me major sneezing fits which have strained all my chest wall so it's sore when I cough. I have been ultra careful using hand gel all the time so neither Caz nor hubs gets it.......what a bind!
I will be on duty at a volunteer day in Central MK in early June, helping to 'man' the Bletchley Park stand! And will also be 'on duty' at the Macmillan ' fayre' day at our local unit too, that's next Saturday......hmmm, maybe I should go back to work, it'd be easier, lol!
My love and hugs to you all
Moomy
BTW, Caz had one of her now famous 'wobbles' when going somewhere new and challenging on her own! She has got there safely and will be having a great time, she just gets nervy facing teaching away from all she knows, it was much worse last year when she was teaching 100 trombonists in Peru! She'll be back to us very late Thursday, hubs will be collecting her, we take it in turns doing the airport runs and he insists on doing the night time runs!
love and hugs to you all

Dear Helen,
Sorry to hear that you are not so good, poor you, now here is Mrs Nagg again lo!
MAKE SURE YOU TAKE CARE OF YOU TOO?????.
Glad to hear that lovely Caz has arrived safely and is having such a good time.
My thoughts are always with her Helen, she is always in my prayers.
Love and many (((((((hugs))))))) to you all

Feeling a bit better after a good long sleep......Caz has a long day today, teaching, masterclasses much of the day, bless her, she had been worried that she didn't have music to prepare and take, but as I told her before she went, she has a really good ear and can find things to say and do with everyone. We have watched some of her masterclasses at a trombone day here, one of which was with the young winner of the BBC Young Musician, the last one, Peter something. She still had plenty to say and do with him to help him.
Tomorrow she has a day off and they have promised to take her to the beach......she has her Factor 1000 with her, lol! Then there is another busy day on Thursday, finished by her flight back, arriving just before midnight!
love and hugs to you all

Bless the lass, she has been going through her iTunes since there is no English TV in her room, has just discovered how much she likes Widor Toccata and fugue! (We had that at our wedding over 40 years back, she now has it on iTunes since, they had got our reel to reel tape of our wedding-there were no video recorders back then, just sound- transferred onto CD)
She has had a very busy day but still managed to get a photo of her and students!
love and hugs to all

Glad to hear you are feeling a little better Helen although sorry to hear that your dear hubs is coming down with it now.
Hope you manage to stay awake, I am sure you will Helen. Hope when you pick Caz up you find her very relaxed from her trip to Italy, I too hope she does not get your cold, bless her.
Love Maryxxxxxx
had a good giggle at your pic, Mary, I know he is a bit fond of leaping flames, though, aren't all men the same?!? lol
love and hugs to all
