My good news is that mum had a good day today. She spent some time in the garden and didn't seem so vague. I know the morphine makes her tired but she seemed more positive today. My sister helped her do the weeding which cheered her up no end as she loves her garden.
I wish you all well.
With love Deborah xx
Debs, I hope it continues well for her.....
Well, am back, it was a brilliant holiday, Norway, Iceland and the Faroes were amazing places, we saw fjords, snow, mountains, pretty villages, great towns, including one rebuilt after a devastating fire, in Art Noveau style, hot springs, sea, sea and more sea......staff on the ship were amazing, good meals, lots of pastries and cakes, (diet begins today!)......what more can I say....
Caz is doing ok, but her blood tests show that the last treatment with trial drug and radiation has hit her ovaries and so explain the hot flushes she has been getting. It might be temporary, but they will keep a careful check. they are hopefully going to try some drugs to boost things, and/or wait to see if it improves or use HRT. She is excited as she has been asked to do a Tutor swap for a few days in Italy, one of the days in the middle turns out to be a bank holiday so she apparently will be taken to the beach! And she has been invited to Rolf's next art exhibition! Hopefully it will include 'Golden Girl', his portrait of her for the CD cover....She will be down with us late on Sunday, and will be needing a lift to Heathrow on monday to Italy for the exchange!
love and hugs to you all

Good News - we are more settled in our family, knowing our beautiful son has skin cancer at 15 was a shock last week... now I have some research, some answers and bags of support from the online community here.... alll seems more stable...
Bad news ... decided not to have any - all my challenges are going to be just that..... every step backwards is an opportunity to have steps forward again....
Wishing all the good news people more and all the bad news people [[[[[[HUGS]]]]]]]
