That is my first BP duty done and dusted, I managed to do a couple of bits of 'the tour' in response to questions from the public, but actually I was just walking in the park, they were half expecting trouble from the tours(3 coaches full) who were booked in today, so there were lots of stewards on duty. Of course there was no trouble at all!
tomorrow, up for Caz's scan results.......
love and hugs to you all

Well, my friends, today wasn't such good news, yes, the node in her neck is still fairly ok, but the one of 4cms in her chest shows an increase in activity since the last scan, not bigger but more active. SH*T!!!!!!!!!
We had hoped the improvement would continue. He began talking about using chemo in a palliative way IF that node got bigger and began to press on any organs or blood vessels. But he did also talk about the trial which is leading to a new drug for the CD30 molecules, it is only in Europe at present and they don't want anyone who might fail as it is about to be licensed, again though it will only be available in the UK IF NICE approves it, and then not for people like Caz, BUT it could be done privately.......well, if it helps our lass, bring it on!!!!!!!!
I am SO glad I went up to support her, otherwise she'd have been alone to get this not too good news, she had a weep in the car as I drove her home to her place, she will probably have another cry tonight, but then in typical Caz fashion, get those blinkers on and refuse to follow what they say is any normal path for her! I too have had a few tears, some on the train coming home, some now as I am typing, its hard to see the letters...........but our lass has achieved SUCH a lot!
Come on, let a cure come NOW!!!!!!!!
love and hugs to you all

ps, she is still well, which they never cease to be pleased about! And hasn't lost any weight either, she says she will now look at stuff that makes her feel good, like the touring, she says she always needs some rest for tummy muscles as they all laugh so much! And yoga, too, she did a few classes but wants to go back, I suggested alternative stuff too, she agreed, and will look into things herself.
