All of us on here get both good and bad news, i wanted to start a thread for all types of news, for everyone to post their news.....
  • Caz has gone home, calling to pick up a computer on her way, she has always wanted an apple desk top, she found one going cheap, second hand of course, but a good second hand one nonetheless. She said as she left that each day she is feeling a bit stronger and more alert, has slept better night after night, and is relishing getting back in prac to be able to work again.

She forwarded her PET scans, she asked if she would be able to have the last 3 emailed to her, they are really fascinating to see in more detail and to study closer. She can hardly feel the neck gland now, she tried to show us as she was about to leave, and really struggled to find it......it had become visible even on a normal photo earlier while she was touring, last summer. We just hope all are going the same way!

I will let you know on here how the dermatology appointment goes, that skin is doing strange things, her legs are still quite hot with the red rash like sunburn.

my love and hugs to you all

Hi Moomy, so glad to hear that Caz's skin condition seems to be improving. Glad to hear the glands seem to be reducing in size.

I listened to the cd sample and have now ordered a copy. I love the sound. My son plays saxaphone but not professionally. Good luck to her for the cd launch. x x x Love and angel hugs x x x Patricia x x x

  • If you like that excerpt, then I am sure you'll just love the whole CD, Patricia.

she is safely back at her home, with the new second hand computer, she is busy setting it up!

Love and hugs to you all

Evening Helen - pleased to hear that Caz is getting better by the day..... I'm really looking forward to listening to the CD - can't wait........Love and ((((hugs))))  Dot xxxxxxxxxx

  • Thanks, Dot, its astonishing to realise how very bad she was, as the downturn was very gradual, no actual incident just a slow and downward spiral, but the contrast now has become clear!

My love and hugs to you and Alan, and everyone

  • Well it is really amazing how, when a problem begins to turn a corner for the better, it can gather momentum......

Caz's skin is improving! Her hands are the only remaining sore bit, legs have begun to settle down now, still have the remnants of rash but in 2 days they have really started to improve! It amazes me that she even has a rash on the PALMS of her hands! The dermatologist had a good look, and agreed it must have been awful for her and was sorry she couldn't have been referred straightaway. He agreed that her skin looks VERY dry still and so has prescribed a rather unusual cream in that nobody has it in stock (!) so she will have it tomorrow morning. I have looked it up, and it is 'moderate', where most stuff used on the skin is listed as 'mild', so I really hope that used twice a day it will help get the remains of this better! The skin that has virtually recovered is still slightly 'bumpy' feeling under the surface but looks ok from a short distance away. She now has 'open access' to dermatology, meaning all she has to do is phone the secretary to arrange an appointment.......hope she doesn't ever have to!

The trombone playing is gradually improving too, not fast enough for the perfectionist, but it did sound better than 2 days ago to me! she has a week and a half to get really good again! (bet she will manage it!)

love and hugs to you all
