    ive just received this poem on anuva site and thought it wu be nice to share it wiv all of my friends on here.

    A HUG CERTIFICATE

    If i cud catch a rainbow
    I'd do it just for you,
    And share wiv u its beauty,
    on the days your feeling blue;

    If i cud build a mountain
    You cud call your very own,
    A place to find serenity,
    A place to be alone;

    If i cud take your troubles,
    I'd toss them in the sea,
    But all these things im finding,
    Are impossible for me;

    I cannot build a mountain
    Or catch a rainbow fair,
    But let me be what i kow best,
    A FRIEND WHO'S ALWAYS THERE

    hi Shell you dont know me but ive been reading youre bits over the last few days, so very sorry about everything but sometimes things do turn out good. i had an op for cancer in january, had to wait 10 days to see if they got it all...they did thank God, in Feb they found tumours in my womb too, they made me a quickie appt. to go for pre-op tests but when i got there the buggers had lost my whole file of notes!!!! as i was going in on the monday (3 days later) they assured me they would find them before addmision..they never did.!!! all my scans the bloody lot gone with the wind....they still took away the tumours n did biopsies..(.the buggers cut both sides of my throat with the breathing tube n i ended up on a course of antibiotics as my throat was yellow n septic from the infection )2 weeks i had to wait, sodding nightmare .. then i got a fone call asking why i never came back for the results...they never bloody told me they were ready!!!! complete shambles..well i did eventually get the results ...I was clear!!! i am so lucky, with all the stress and worry of waiting i cant believe i got the all clear i have to pinch myself....I hope to God you get the same results as I did Shell.. its just like being on a bloody rollercoaster.....good luck luvy xxxxCarolxx
  • Carol, we haven't talked before, hello......sounds like you had a really tough time, aren't they good at losing notes? our Caz had a second opinion and we offered to take scans, but the scan dept said no, so guess what happened? scans spent 5 weeks in some sort of transit, there for second opinion too late and back to original hospital too late too! They would have been both safe and useful had they allowed us to take them! Am so pleased for you that you are clear and hope that our Shell is too! love to you....

    There is no need for thank, and you already have done more than enough by running the Race for life in memory of Dad, so thank you love

    Hi Helen

  • Carol, I so agree about Den, she was the first to chat to me when I joined, we are still going through the mill, and I so wish I'd found this site much earlier, we have been going through it with our Caz for almost 4 years now....
