All of us on here get both good and bad news, i wanted to start a thread for all types of news, for everyone to post their news.....
  • All systems go for Monday, as long as there is a room for her, we have to phone first thing! Now I have to think of tasty food that can be stored in her room, heated up in the ward microwave or eaten cold! I can't go into her room, but can heat up food myself for her, I suspect it'll be a bit like the room she had before for isolation, a double door system with an air lock lobby.

After all, we all know how yukky hospital food is, ( they have something like £1 per person per day to feed patients!) and she does tend to stop eating at the drop of a hat, did that in her hotel room in Monte Carlo, even WITH room service!

My love and hugs to all

On a  Tuesday morning I will be meeting with group people who prayer together and I will tell them about Caz. and what is happening if you would  like it

My wife has started the production of next years Christmas Puddings..The fruit is mixed with mixture of whiskey, vodka, Guinness and other liqueurs and will be left to mature for a couple of months.

When I go out for papers tomorrow got to get some carrots to be put in the mixture.

Will be watching out for any news from you

  • Ah, thank you all, prayers, wishes, everything will help! We just hope that being radioactive will be worth it!

We have been busy shopping today for all sorts of silly things to make up a week's worth of parcels for her to open one each day, things like doodling books and coloured pencils, puzzle books, nail polish and toenail kit, also some biscuits and other nibbles, mostly to coax her appetite and make her giggle and silly stuff to do as well. I'm also going to make her some choccy cakes to eat, and stuff like the soups in a packet and risotto packets for the staff to heat in the ward microwave for her. All extras, as I suspect she won't want much of the hospital food, and as she won't feel ill, she will need some home comforts and comfort food to stop her 'climbing the wall'!

My dear friends, I will keep this updated as often as I can, but commuting will be tiring and time-consuming!

    love and hugs to all

Helen dear lady just dropped by to send you more ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Just make sure you take care of you and yours, we will all be with you next week, not in body, but certainly in spirit, just reach out and feel those hands and healing vibes coming dear Caz's and your way.

    Love Maryxxxxx

  • I had an email back from the specialist nurse, saying that belongings might have to stay a little longer than the patient if radiation counts are still high, but as yet she hasn't known this to happen, and she said what a lovely idea that was!

So now we know we can wrap and label those silly things in any order we think best

Today, as well as the lunchtime concert, I'm going to continue with the mincemeat recipe that I began yesterday evening, thanks Delia!

My love and hugs to you all
