no, Helen, you're not psychic neither are you in need of the men in white jackets. you are just totally in tune with your daughter - remember when she was a baby that you would get to the point where you'd wake before her during the night? That's being a mum!!!!!!
Hope she's soon feeling better and that the worry eases for you.

    Hi Helen,

Susan is right, you do not need men in white jackets. Think us mums sense when there is something wrong with our children, I have had the same experiences, and also I have just got to look at Rachael at times and know there is something wrong, we are a strange lot are we not.

    Love and hugs my friend.

  • Thanks, glad you agree with me, i too think we Mums just know when things aren't right, have been very close to Caz since all this began and i suspect that's why it happened.

I was totally instinctive when she had whooping cough too, our Doc couldn't understand why i checked her one night , but i just knew i had to, and yes, she was in a cough spasm but hadn't made any noise at all, she then had some drugs to suppress the cough reflex and was never as ill again with that childhood disease.

    Hi Helen,

So sorry to hear the latest news of Caz. I am hoping and praying she'll come through okay, ready to tackle the next challenge life throws at her. She's so young and strong of mind, so one has to hope for the very best outcome!

You must be desperate to "hop on a plane" to go and comfort her and yet, probably you need to hold off for now so you can be of more use in the coming days and weeks. Always a hard call for us mothers!

Love and hugs to you and Caz and your family,

    Dearest Helen

Sorry to hear that Caz is unwell - I had hoped (as I know you would) that she would not succumb to any kind of bugs whilst away..........always sooooooo hard to cope when there's a distance between mother and chicks..............

Take care of you as she will soon need you by her side again to support her through her next trials........

Love and (((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) to you, Caz and family.

Helen our dear friend we are here for you if you need us. Remember Caz will have the best doctors and care while she is away from you, try not to worry too much, know that is not easy, but please make sure you take care of yourself for when she returns to you.

    Hi Helen,
I'm sorry to hear that Caz is unwell. I hope that she feels much better very soon. Thinking of you all and sending love and hugs sharon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • My dear friends, she is not as bad as first thought, she has caught yet another rotten cough, but there has it seems been a good deal of over-reaction, and she feels much better after a long rest, they have arranged a flight for her to re-join the tour on Monday, and we have been chatting a lot over the last few hours, AppleMacs have a system of 'ichat' when if the signal strength is too poor for skype to work, we can still do a free 'on line' instant chat to each other, and have been doing so for the last 6 hours or so!

She might still probably take the Tamiflu as it will hopefully shorten the virus she has got but it isn't that essential, thank goodness. What worried me was that they had put a guard outside her hotel door! but she says the hotel is a really nice one, pretty expensive, so maybe I wouldn't be able to afford to rush out there, lol!

much love and hugs to you all, i really rate this site for support!
