Well, today qualifies as 'A Grand Day Out', it was so good, hubs also loved the Eye, wasn't sure if he would, but I can heartily recommend it even for someone who has a tendency to claustrophobia! The cruise was enjoyable, seeing central London from the Thames was so different to seeing it from the roads, and the Eye trip was just super, we had truly lovely weather too, the views were HUGE! (Caz loved the photo i emailed her!)

Ah, yes, us poor oldies had to get up late today! hahaha! Was so tired, even though yesterday I didn't realise it! Still, have taken it easy today to make up.....

Thanks, Sue and Quill, (and Mary of course, dearest Mary, goes without saying that i thank you for all your support), we are having an easy day today, but have been into the shops just for a short while.
We found the Eye just so good a ride, they call it a flight.......even if yo aren't good with heights it somehow doesn't seem to be upsetting! the photos are terrific, both of us took slightly different ones, oddly enough, but both took an 'arty' shot of the metalwork!
So pleased that you enjoyed your day yesterday...........I don't particularly like big cities (country-girl through and through) - but may one day brave the 'Smoke' and see the Eye and all!!!!
Rest easy tonight too then you'll be ready for anything tomorrow..........
