Well, folk, Wimbledon begins next Monday and we also have Silverstone this weekend, which will give us locals some early waking to hear the helicopters going overhead!

hahaha, Dianne, only the one helicopter? I don't think so! Most of the Silverstone farmers rent out fields to pilots and the air lanes get pretty busy, it used to be much worse when they used to use the M1 service area as motel rooms, they don't seem to do that any more, and road systems are better too, but it still gets busy in the skies by 6am on race day!
I don't watch too much tennis the first week, had a colleague who always asked to be on the early shift that fortnight so she was free to watch every afternoon, now she's retired I bet she'll be watching every day!
I do hope that you manage to get some sleep and those helicopters don't wake you too early, it must be very annoying for you all. I love the tennis, but unfortunately I am not able to watch it all, although do try to catch up with it when I can. Biggest of hugs to you all, strength and healing vibes for your lovely daughter. morning, all.....there are some 'choppers' up there, but they are quite high this year, it must be some way away that they are using, so we might not have too rude an awakening tomorrow for the big race itself, I'll be off for a concert by 1pm anyway tomorrow, son is doing a bit of solo cello in an afternoon concert, am going to watch.
