    Dear Helen,

Well done to you both, no matter how large or how small it all will go along way helping to find a cure for this disease and I pray that it comes soon.

Biggest of hugs and love to you all.

  • Just almost jumped out of my skin, a brilliant flash and the crash of the thunder virtually immediately after, so the weather forecast was VERY accurate!

Caz has gone off for a day teaching, then off up to Newcastle for Granda's funeral tomorrow, then back here tomorrow night and Birmingham on Wednesday. What a busy lass, I'm so pleased she is going to support her pal and family for the funeral, Granda had all but adopted her, since both of our fathers died young, bless him, I only met him a couple of times but he was a lovely gentleman.

ooooooooooooooo Helen hope your ok, its pouring here and very humid, forecast thunder - not had any yet, but could arrive eventually most likely be the middle of the night and wake me up hehehe.

Give Caz a hug from me when you see her it won't be easy attending Granda's funeral tomorrow, bless her. Is she coming up to Newcastle upon Tyne or is it the other one?

    Love and hugs Maryxxxxxx

    Hi Helen,
Think we have just had your storm, the loud thunder made me jump as well
Hope the weather improves tomorrow for Grandas funeral, i will be thinking about
Caz and her pal, what a buzy girl she is, always on the go bless her.
I hope you have recovered from your race yesterday, well done again to you both
    Love and Big hugs

  • Dianne, we are both fine, no aches or pains at all, just show we are both reasonably fit, I guess!

Mary, yes, she's up in your part of the world! Not too sure exactly where the funeral is, though i know it was Newcastle on Tyne she was going by train, then presumably on from there, her pal has her car up there and would be meeting her.

The storm didn't last long but it is still humid though cooler, thank goodness, hope the humidity goes overnight......just got back from a rehearsal, normally its lunchtimes but this concert is such an important one, celebrating 40 years of the Open University, that its with a professional orchestra in the main theatre, and tonight we had their conductor rehearsing us, she's good!

love and hugs to you all.

    Morning Helen

I hope there is no dramatic weather for Granda's funeral today.............I'm thinking of Caz - supporting her friend today xxx And thinking of you too - worrying about your 'little chick' as she starts her battle all over again...............

Love and (((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))) to you and all you family (your men folk don't get mentioned often - but they must be just as anxious as you)

    Dot xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Dear Dot, yes we are all coping, just, as before, we seem to have our 'down' times at different times so comfort each other, but right now we are 'in limbo' as we haven't heard about the trial yet, at least, Caz hasn't said......

Today, or rather tonight, she will be on her way back down and to save a lot of time, we may be driving across country to save her tripping right down to London then across and back up, it could save her a good 2 or 3 hours on her journey, but we would have about 3 hours round trip......but she would get more rest.....what we do for our offspring, eh?

    Dear Helen,

Hope Caz is ok dear lady after attending Grandads funeral. The weather here has not been too bad, overcast and warm, the heavy rain happened overnight and boy did it rain it woke me up lo!!!! but at least it has stayed dry for your lovely girl today.

Sending you all the biggest of hugs my dear friend, you, Caz and you family are never far from my thoughts and prayers.

    ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • Mary, it was Ashington.....don't know if you know it?

Plans changed, Caz has decided the work would be too much of a rush, so I'll collect her sometime tomorrow, then she'll drive back home later.

I still feel so grateful that in spite of Caz being so well, we all know that it might not continue, and so all of you are here for me in case I need it.....its a wonderful place, this.
