Just beginning to feel that I'm on the mend at last, yay! And about time too, still taking enough pills to rattle! Am now just a bit short of breath, so plenty of Ventolin today, and the hope that I don't get a horrendous coughing fit as I did in the very last item in yesterday's lunchtime concert, had to rush off and crouch in a corner,trying desperately not to cough, you know how it is, you get tears rushing down your face in the effort to contain it! (no route out to the outside!) Much embarrassed! Apologised profusely to the conductor afterwards, but as he knew prior to the gig I wasn't well, he didn't panic but continued as normal ( the show must go on!) and regained the poise of the choir, which I had slightly interrupted, and the concert went really well apart from that. We had the Mayor ( know her well as we have sung together often) and the Deputy Boss of the OU in the audience, too. Last night of the show tonight.....

Caz is safely en route to Peru, via Spain, she lands in Peru this evening, late. She was feeling that she didn't want to go, nervy as she sometimes is before a tour a long way away, we had a long phone chat last night after her brilliant concert in the Albert Hall, she was pleased with how well she had played, pity I wasn't there to see it. But at least I was able to quell her fears about the trip to Peru!

Have just tonight's show, which as long as I am leaping ( a little!) around and mouthing the words, no-one notices that I'm not singing! Yesterday was important for me, as for one piece, there was only me on my part, and I managed that!
