well, just as things hang in the balance with Deb, it turns out my dad is also quite ill. Sunday night he had a mild angina attack and, after a stay at the george elliot in nuneaton, is back home after having an angiogram and has been given a diagnosis of unstable angina. oh and with england on course for a fabulous bum spanking against wales at the weekend (rugby) it's all just great >_<

Oh and Marc - if you really want to feel down in the dumps what about the cricket????? What were they thinking of?? The next bottle of rum?? Has the sun gone to their heads?????
  • I feel a bit like Victor Meldrew now - 'I don't believe it!' yet more snow, it wouldn't be bad if it wasn't on top of slushy icy trodden down stuff!

    Still, Holly enjoys it.....

I had a lovely back massage late this afternoon and hadn't realized how tense and tight my shoulders had got so I am now feeling rather better! And nicely relaxed too

Love and hugs to all, sleep well and dream good dreams.... Marc, I'm sorry about your not so good news, hope it will get better for you soon.

  • Caz is flying out to Mumbai on Sunday, no doubt I will be driving her to the airport!

We have Holly-dog here at present, she's enjoying her walkies round in our neighbourhood again, lots of new smells to explore! She loves the snow too! It's fast disappearing here, at long last the temperature is rising!

    Love and hugs to all

    Hi Helen,

Tell Caz to have a wonderful trip, by she certainly travels, well done to her!!!!.

The snow is fast disappearing here too its been a lovely day today lots of sunshine which has melted it in places. It was a very scary trip to work this morning all the ice etc, thank goodness it was a different journey home.

Glad Holly likes the snow, and I'm sure little ones just love it.

    Love and hugs

  • Mary, dear lady, thanks for that message for Caz, she certainly lives her life to the fullest!

We still haven't got the Internet box, it apparently wasn't ordered so I raised the roof when I phoned, yet again, today and they have promised it by courier on a priority order! Let's see hoe fast that is! ( not!)

Love and hugs to all, and a peaceful night with good dreams to all too.

  • It's really tough getting on site by just a mobile phone and a dodgy phone line Internet! I keep getting booted off as it times out!

Miss my Internet, it is hard to realize how much we rely on it till it's gone!

Caz will be here sometime tomorrow, and I will be driving her down to the airport on Monday, on her way to India!

I am thankful that the snow is almost gone now as the slushy mess just got the dog so mucky, and she thinks a towel is yet another game! She had a bath this morning as she was so very grubby! She's now exhausted, by bath and games getting dry and then chasing the vacuum cleaner and is asleep curled up beside me!

    Love and hugs to all

  • Gaeme, we are normally on broadband but the wi- fi box died last week on Tuesday, been trying to get it replaced ever since! We have a backlog of post although it's coming by courier, they are also behind due to the bad weather! Any excuse!

  • As I type this Caz is on a plane on her way to India, where she will be playing with the symphony orchestra there, together with several other British musicians, she's looking forward to the warmth and also to experience the real curries too, she knows the area in Manchester famous for curries and has a few favourite places! She didn't get the Opera North first trombone job and although disappointed at rejection, she was quite pleased not to get it as it would mean a good deal of sitting in an orchestra pit playing repetitive stuff that she is not keen on.

It was a very early start, we set off at 4.30am, that daughter of ours gets me up too often at silly o'clock!

Love and hugs to all, our Internet box is now on the way, yay! at long last!
