Well, back home again with aching arms, legs, back, hips, neck, and probably more places than I can list, really.....we got a big shelving system for the store/utility, and assembled it, having moved all the stuff out that was there, and muggins went collecting all the wood from car to house as they needed it, and I mean lots!!!! We also assembled a table to replace the smaller one.
A very thankful daughter later, we left and drove back home, she will be arriving late tomorrow, on and off from now till Boxing Day, she is doing some 'Spamalot' performances, and she got tickets for her and I to go to see it on new years eve, yay!
Wow, what a good night we both had last night, it was almost 9 when we woke, both needed it after all the hard work of the last few days.
The wandering one has already got working on her shelves and tidying the kitchen, bless her, she will be down here tonight, and apart from a couple of gigs, is fairly free till Boxing day......so I have done the cleaning as well as some food shopping today in readiness.....there were folk already buying food as though there is going to be several weeks of shut shops!!!!
Ouch! was the first word that escaped this morning, what with already the aches from earlier in the week, then cleaning and then a singing/dancing rehearsal last night, well, I suppose I brought it on myself, lol......
The wandering one comes this afternoon, is only playing tonight, not at the matinee performance as well, as she first thought.

hi folks, well so far so good!!!! the painkilling cocktail seems to be working for me thank god, i can honestly say for the best part of today i have been pretty well pain free. i have been totally doped up but at least the pain has been minimal. i managed some sleep in last night, and had an hour this evening as now feel totally drained. hope all is ok with you all, lots of love and hugs me xoxoxoxoxox
Shell, am so pleased that you have had some decent rest at last, I bet the 'drained' feeling you describe is due to some proper albeit drug-helped rest, you are catching up and will feel tired, I bet, for a few days till your system gets used to the new regime. love to you

Caz has just left for her last gig before Christmas. Unfortunately she will be going up north again tomorrow, for the funeral of a friend and colleague, a trumpeter, who had a very short illness, a matter of weeks since diagnosis, another lost to this disease. My prayers go to him, may he rest in peace, and to his family at this sad time.
