hi folks, well ive managed about an hours kip all nite cuz all jordan does is cough, cough cough bless him, i feel so helpless as all i can do is sit here and rub his back for him, im begining to think they shouldnt have sent him home as he is just constantly coughing and heaving. once again thank you for all of your support this weekend i have really, really appreciated it and when i have read your posts out to jordan he has smiled at each and everyone of one of them. love and hugs to al xoxoxoxoxox

Hello, all, we had a late night waiting up for the jazz player..... as I said, Ronnie Scotts is THE jazz venue, all the greats have sung and played there from all the world, Caz got here about 2am, and still is in the land of nod as I type this......but is planning to drive back home today. Shell, honey, also try an electric kettle with the lid off, full of course, it won't switch off without the lid of course. That will add some steam to the room, which hopefully will ease his chest.

I was so pleased to hear you have got Jordon with you, and that his temprature is now stable. Helens and Donna's advice is sound, try the steam and see if it helps with the cough love, I used to do the same for Rachael when she was had a very bad cough, and it always worked with a little bit of olbas oil added to the water to help with her breathing. Try to get as much rest as you can.

Karen its lovely to hear from you, hope you are ok love and that you are not working too hard.
I can understand your feelings about Taylor, but surely he became frustrated as he missed you so much.....the way forward might be to sort out a dog proof latch for the doors you don't wish him to be able to open while you are out, then he won't be able to do so much damage. We had to do that with our pets, they once broke out of their special enclosure while we were out for the day, we came home to be welcomed with looks of disgust that we had spoilt their fun!
All it needs, dear Donut, is double handles, so that you have to open both at the same time, they used to use those with 'wandering folk' in hospitals, am sure that would defeat any clever dog!
