Hi everyone, Ive only been here since June but I wanted to share my good news , My 17 year old daughter Lauren Had A complicated trophoblastic tumour and she received intensive chemo every week in London.Her old mum trying to keep her sane as we fought/disagreed most days.lol, but she needed me when she was sick and a cuddle always made her better. See my biography for further details and progress. Anyway yesterday we flew to London (again) and Lauren had an MRI scan and an ultrasound to see if the tumour had responded to the chemo. RESULTS; her tumour has gone and her ovaries and uterus are "normal".
We are overjoyed and the news hasnt sunk in yet but we will be watching x factor tomorrow with a glass of champagne, well maybe cava in hand to celebrate her health. I wish to thank many people on this site.Especially moomy who always took the time to reply to me when i was frustrated and didnt know who to turn to.Many times I have read peoples posts and given myself a shake. always amazes me the wisdom that some people have and just a few words can make a dark day go much better. So if reading my post gives hope and positivity to someone then great. I wish everyone good luck and the strength to cope with whatever life deals them. Love and good wishes Lesley and Lauren xxx

Lesley - you must be a very proud Mum - your girl has gone through a lot these past few months and you've been with her everystep of the way.......I hope her brother doesn't feel too neglected by all this??
