Helen hunni, i can relate to you on the no heating thing, weve had no heating or hot water for 2 weeks but ladnladys son came out tonight and has fixed it, but not sure how long for, weve been having to go to my friends house to have baths and showers its been a nightmare, hope yours gets sorted very soon hunni

Hello to you both, Karen and Shell, we too have gas hot water system, oh boy! That's off too of course! But at least we have electricity and fan heaters, thank goodness! But I actually put the blame on the service engineer who came out in July, T says he didn't do the job properly, just shows how reliant we are on those who are supposedly qualified to do a proper job and don't! It was done while I was away singing in Manchester. Oh well, at least we should have something done soon, maybe tomorrow....watch this space!

I couldn't resist the quote.......I love Flanders and Swann and have some of their records (yes, actual vinyl!!) - I must find them out and have a good chuckle at their songs!!!! 'Mud, mud, glorious mud....' though I don't think your blood will need cooling today.................
Hope the gas man returns and sorts out your heating etc....and that he doesn't leave a trail of destruction behind him!!!! Offer a nice cuppa - that usually gets them in a good mood!!!!!!

Gas man has 'beeneth' and we are now warm with warming water too! Oddly enough while going into the glory hole where all gas meters live, he started to sing about coffee, so he got made a cup! He was a nice chap, some of the three we had yesterday weren't! (need I say more?)
